Por El Camino Del Mar is a book I read while in Cuba by Guillermo Rodriguez Rivera. Havana is a city in limbo whose economy relies almost entirely on tourism. In my search of Latin American identity, I found Cuba to be uncanny. While I may not have many answers, one question lingers in me from that book: “Are we who have emerged, or the remnants of what has sunk?”
